Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has a "good feeling" about his side beating Real Madrid in their Champions League semi-final.
The two sides meet each other in the first leg of the last four-tie at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday with Madrid bidding for their 13th European crown and a third in succession.
The Spanish side beat Munich 6-3 on aggregate last season in the quarter-finals. However, Heynckes believes there is not much between his current and former sides.
He said: "Both of our teams will provide us with attractive football. There are big players and it will be an open game. For me there is no favourite but I have a good feeling.
"We have had success in the Bundesliga, reached the final of the cup and we want to cap that with the final of the Champions League."
Heynckes has won the Champions League in the past with Real in 1998, ending a 32-year wait at the Bernabeu, and also with Munich in 2013.
"I have some great memories in the Champions League, 1998 for example. It was a fantastic feeling when the whislte went and Real were European champions again.
"It was a big moment but I do not like to look back, I live in the present. It's a wonderful privilege to have had success in my career and to reach the semi-finals.
"Hopefully the final against one of my old clubs, Real Madrid."
Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, who won the 2013 Champions League with Bayern, says he feels the German side are better than they were 12 months ago when Madrid beat them.
He said: "They won the [Bundesliga] title very early, but haven't let up. They are very hungry. Their shape is better than last year, they are in top form and playing more like a team under Heynckes, but we are here to change that.
"This is our last chance to win a title. We are highly motivated, as we have been the whole season long in the Champions League.
"We haven't taken the easiest route this year with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and now Bayern, but we are on the verge of the final."
