Cristiano Ronaldo scored in his first game since denying rape allegations, as Juventus beat Udinese 2-0 in Serie A on Saturday.

Kathryn Mayorga filed a civil lawsuit last week in Nevada claiming she was raped by Ronaldo in Las Vegas in 2009. Ronaldo has denied the accusation.

Juventus' share price fell 10 per cent on Friday after the team management tweeted their support for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo started against Udinese and gave Juve a 2-0 lead when he fired past Simone Scuffet in the 37th minute.

He celebrated in front of a TV camera, leaping into the air with an emphatic double fist pump. The goal was met by a mix of applause and boos inside Dacia Arena.

Rodrigo Betancur gave Juventus the lead four minutes earlier with a header that was confirmed by the VAR due to a possible offside.

Ronaldo was involved in several other chances while Juve's Joao Cancelo hit the crossbar in the closing minutes.

The win continues Juventus' perfect start to the season and sees them move nine points clear of Napoli, who host Sassuolo on Sunday.
