Gareth Bale would have a "huge" impact on the Premier League should he leave Real Madrid this summer, says Sam Vokes.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admitted on Monday that he would "fight" for Gareth Bale's return to English football should Real Madrid leave the Wales international out of Real Madrid's squad for tonight's UEFA Super Cup encounter in Macedonia.
Bale is part of Zinedine Zidane's 24-man squad for the Super Cup and Vokes, who played alongside Bale in Wales' run to the European Championship semi-finals in France last summer, is in no doubt about the 28-year-old's "fantastic talent".
"He'd be huge," Vokes told Sky Sports News. "He's a fantastic talent. It'd be great to watch and I can only speak from playing on the international stage but he's been huge for Wales there and he's a great talent.
"He stands out. He's world class, you can see that everyday in training.
"He trains hard and put the effort in every day and you can see that watching him."
Bale helped Real to a La Liga and Champions League double last season but the Los Blancos are reportedly interested in signing Monaco's highly-rated striker Kylian Mbappe.
