Zinedine Zidane's last professional game came in France's 2006 World Cup final defeat by Italy, where the midfielder was sent off for a headbutt on Marco Materazzi.
He played 225 times for Real Madrid between 2001 and 2006, scoring 49 goals.
The Frenchman, who is manager of Real Madrid Castilla, has four sons at the club, with Enzo captaining his reserve side, while Theo and Elyaz are part of the academy.
