Terry Gibson has discussed how the achievements of Raul and Cristiano Ronaldo are perceived by Real Madrid fans.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Gibson said Ronaldo's remarkable record in front of goal is unlikely to be matched but that Real Madrid have been overshadowed in recent years by Barcelona's trophy success, and that could affect how the Portugal captain is viewed in comparison to Raul.
"I think it boils down to the fact that Raul won six titles and three Champions League trophies," said Gibson.
"Since Ronaldo has been at Real Madrid, the club has the one league [title]. It's been a period dominated by Barcelona.
"So I think that's the next mission [for Ronaldo] - to become even more of a leader for his team, for the focus to be on winning trophies at Real Madrid.
"If he does that, he should be held in exactly the same regard as Raul, but Cristiano Ronaldo, I think, needs to have one or two more trophies. Raul was a master at leading Real Madrid from the front."
