Miguel Angel Guerrero scored but then had a penalty saved as Leganes lost 2-1 to Madrid rivals Getafe in La Liga.
Alvaro Jimenez punished the miss with the visitors' winner after Guerrero cancelled out Mauro Arambarri's first-half opener.
Leganes had early sights of goal through Guerrero and Javier Eraso before Getafe took control.
Faycal Fajr's dangerous set-piece delivery created chances for Djene Dakonam and Juan Cala, while Gaku Shibasaki and Fajr himself also threatened.
Just as Leganes looked to come back into the game, with Eraso's shot saved before Ruben Perez fired over, Jorge Molina teed up Arambarri who set himself nearly 30 yards out and fired a ferocious rising drive into the top corner.
Guerrero headed just wide early in the second half but equalised in the 65th minute, following up after Diego Rico was twice denied by Vicente Guaita.
But his low spot-kick, after Cala fouled Gabriel Pires, was well saved and instead Jimenez had the final say, hammering home after Fajr delivered a corner directly to the edge of the box.
