But in a closely-fought contest, Athletic Bilbao's Inaki Williams pipped Barcelona's Luis Suarez to the crown.
Williams polled 18.4 per cent of the vote for a stupendous flick and volley against Espanyol - beating the controversial penalty that Suarez - set up by Lionel Messi - scored against Celta Vigo by just 0.4 per cent of the vote.
Cristiano Ronaldo took third spot for his fierce strike, via a drop of the shoulder and a stepover, against Espanyol.
