Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke has been handed an immediate two-match touchline ban following an SFA disciplinary tribunal on Thursday.
Clarke will have to sit in the stand during his team's crucial Premiership finale against Rangers following the outcome of the disciplinary hearing.
He has received an additional one-game ban which is suspended until the end of 2019.
Clarke was charged following comments regarding the performance of referee Steven McLean during the match against Aberdeen on April 20.
Clarke attended the hearing in person, but left without comment.
The 55-year-old described the official's performance as "the worst" he had ever seen after Stuart Findlay, Kirk Broadfoot and Rory McKenzie were sent off in their side's 1-0 Scottish Premiership defeat at Rugby Park.
McKenzie's red card was rescinded on appeal but Clarke called for McLean to never officiate a Kilmarnock match again, claiming the fact that his father Stuart is a former player at the club affects his performances in games involving the Ayrshire side.
Clarke was previously given a suspended two-game ban in October for criticising the SFA's disciplinary process.
Despite that, he remains a leading candidate for the vacant Scotland manager's job, with the SFA having set a Monday deadline to appoint the new national team boss.
