Ryan Jack admits he cannot remember the last time Rangers enjoyed a lengthy winning run and insists it is time that changed.

A 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock on Wednesday night was yet another reminder of the wild swings in form that have dented Steven Gerrard's first season as Ibrox boss.

Under Gerrard, Rangers have managed to string three victories together just once - against Rapid Vienna, Hearts and Hamilton back in October.

Steven Gerrard says Rangers cannot afford to underestimate Livingston on Sunday and hopes his team learn their lessons from their defeat at the Tony Macaroni Arena earlier this season.

And Jack admits Gers must find a way to fix their chronic lack of consistency if they are to reignite a title race which appeared to be firmly on after his goal sank Celtic at Ibrox just four weeks ago.

"When we were speaking with a few boys yesterday morning, we said we don't know the last time we went on an actual winning streak and put a consistent run of victories together," Jack said ahead of Sunday's trip to Livingston, live on Sky Sports.

"We all realise that and going into Sunday, we hope this can be the start of a real run of results. We have to use the disappointment and frustration we felt on Wednesday to move forward.

"We had the day off on Thursday and it was a chance to just chill out and reflect on the game, which was disappointing obviously. We came back in yesterday and spoke about it all. We all said we want to show a reaction.

Jordan Jones says he hopes his goal against Rangers - who he will join in the summer - proves he is fully committed to Kilmarnock until the end of the season.

"Of course it was frustrating not being able to back up the Old Firm win, but every game is different, every challenge is different.

"We just want to go into Sunday's game now and show a reaction and three points at Livingston will help us along the way with some important games coming up."
