South African striker expects to impress Lennon
Celtic trialist Katlego Mphela is confident he can earn a permanent stay at the Scottish Premier League giants.
The South African striker is set to take in a spell training with the Hoops ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.
A number of impressive displays in his homeland for Mamelodi Sundowns have brought him to Neil Lennon's attention.
He did spend time with French outfit Strasbourg earlier in his career, but lasted just two years in European football.
The 26-year-old believes he has what it takes to compete at that level, though, and is expecting to be offered a full-time deal by Celtic.
He said: "It's not a normal situation at Sundowns for players to be allowed to go for trials but the club made an exception for me.
"I believe I will do well enough to win a contract with Celtic."
