Vakoun Issouf Bayo joins Celtic from Dunajska Streda

Celtic have signed forward Vakoun Issouf Bayo from Slovakian side Dunajska Streda on a four-year deal, subject to a medical and work permit.

Bayo becomes manager Brendan Rodgers' third signing of the January transfer window following the loan arrivals of Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah.

The Scottish champions had a bid for Bayo rejected last week but have now completed the signing of the 21-year-old, who has been capped twice by the Ivory Coast.

Alongside fellow new arrival Weah, he will give Celtic extra depth in attack, Leigh Griffiths having decided to take time away from the game.
