Celtic may be unbeaten in domestic football this season, but defender Kolo Toure insists trophies are more important.

Brendan Rodgers' side are unbeaten in 33 games in the league this term, winning 29 in the process, and are on course to become the first side since Rangers in 1899 to finish the season unbeaten.

They've already secured the league title and the Scottish League Cup and face Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday, April 23 live on Sky Sports 2 - and Toure says sealing a treble is bigger than going unbeaten in the league.

"If we can win the treble that would be great, but we just focus on winning the next game," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"You don't think of going unbeaten at the start of the season. You then win games and don't lose.

Celtic thanked fans for their support this season by inviting them to an open training session

"We just want to enjoy the game, give everything and make our fans happy. That's it. The most important thing for us is to win trophies."

Toure is no stranger to being in an invincible team, achieving the feat with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal in 2003/04.

Andy Walker tells Luke Shanley he believes Scott Sinclair has been the outstanding player in Scottish football this season

"He can see talent, he can see a future in young talent and I think that is amazing. Of course at the moment things are not going the right way because of the things he has won. Wenger has been massive for Arsenal and will fight until the end.

"He will be remembered as one of the best managers in Arsenal, if not the best manager.

"When he came, Arsenal started to put United under pressure and everybody knew that. He has been amazing, he has been massive in all the changes in Arsenal, the way Arsenal play football is amazing.
