After a miserable week of World Cup Qualifiers for Scotland, it is back to domestic duty for those who were away on international duty, including our very own Ian Crocker and Andy Walker.

The Sky Sports Scotland commentary team are back to give their predictions for this weekend's Scottish Premiership matches.

Inverness CT v Rangers - Friday 7.45pm

Rangers travel to Inverness having not recorded a victory in their last three away matches. The last time they went on a longer barren run on the road was in 2008 when the Ibrox club failed to win in five straight games.

Richie Foran picked up the Premiership manager of the month award for September this week. Inverness are unbeaten in their last five league matches (W2 D3) after losing their opening three.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Inverness CT 1-2 Rangers

Key player: Lee Wallace
Given his desire to get forward, the Ibrox full back and captain is undoubtedly one of the strongest attacking options Mark Warburton has.

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Inverness CT 0-1 Rangers

Key player: Jason Holt
Steady, dependable, reliable and an eye for goal.

Aberdeen v Ross County - Saturday 3pm

The last meeting between the sides at Pittodrie in May ended in a 4-0 victory for Ross County, which ended a run of four straight wins for Aberdeen.

Aberdeen are on a run of three straight wins, scoring nine in the process while Ross County have not won in the five league games since the August 20 (D3 L2).

Andy Walker's prediction:
Aberdeen 2-0 Ross County

Key player: Shay Logan
Another full back who does a tremendous job in both attack and defence.

Image: Shay Logan has already played 15 times for Aberdeen in all competitions so far this season

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Aberdeen 2-0 Ross County

Key player: Adam Rooney
Never far away from a goal.

Celtic v Motherwell - Saturday 3pm

Motherwell's last two trips to Celtic Park in all competitions have ended 7-0 and 5-0 respectfully with the away side only securing a victory once in their last  15 visits to the East End of Glasgow.

Mark McGhee's men may have won only one of their last seven games, but they are currently in the top half of the table, although Celtic lead the way still unbeaten in the Premiership (W6 D1).

Andy Walker's prediction:
Celtic 3-0 Motherwell

Key player:James Forrest
A different player under Brendan Rodgers. He stays fit and is a constant threat setting up chances and scoring the odd goal himself.

Image: Celtic's James Forrest has scored five goals so far this season under Brendan Rodgers

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Celtic 3-0 Motherwell

Key player: Leigh Griffiths
Will be itching for a goal if he's a sub again! Surely due a run in the Scotland team now.

Image: Leigh Griffiths hasn't started a match since the end of August due to injury and the in-form Moussa Dembele

Hearts v Dundee - Saturday 3pm

Dundee have failed to score more than once against Hearts in the top flight since October 2003, netting just eight times in 12 games.

Paul Hartley's side have failed to win in the seven games since the opening day (L4 D3) whereas Hearts have won four of their last six league games.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Hearts 4-0 Dundee

Key player: John Souttar
He has possibly found the club that will help him develop the consistency required to gain international recognition.

Image: John Souttar is learning his trade at Hearts with nine appearances so far this season

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Hearts 2-1 Dundee

Key player: Arnaud Djoum
He has been a terrific signing for Hearts.

Partick Thistle v Hamilton Accies - Saturday 3pm

Partick Thistle are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Hamilton Accies in the Scottish Premiership with Kris Doolan scoring five goals in his last four starts against Martin Canning's side.

Hamilton lead the league in terms of the amount of points dropped from winning positions (14 pts).

Andy Walker's prediction
Partick Thistle 2-1 Hamilton Accies

Key player: Ade Azeez
Former Wimbledon man played well at Ibrox but needs a goal to kickstart his Thistle career.

Image: Ade Azeez has scored once in his 12 Partick Thistle appearances

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Partick Thistle 1-0 Hamilton Accies

St Johnstone v Kilmarnock - Sunday 3pm

Kilmarnock have recorded the least amount of shots on target in the league having only managed 21 in the eight matches so far.

St Johnstone are currently fourth in the Premiership table and have won three of their last four league matches, drawing the other.

Andy Walker's prediction:
St Johnstone 1-0 Kilmarnock

Key player: Steven Anderson
Holds the appearance record at St Johnstone and fitting he has been rewarded with the captaincy following Dave Mackay`s retirement

Image: New captain Steven Anderson has netted twice for his club so far in 2016/17

Ian Crocker's prediction:
St Johnstone 1-1 Kilmarnock
