Leicester youngster Josh Knight has signed a new deal at the King Power Stadium and moved to Peterborough United on loan.
Knight has committed his immediate future to the Foxes, and signed a contract running until the summer of 2021.
He will remain at Peterborough for the remainder of the current campaign, in order to pick up first-team experience.
Knight, 21, has been playing his football with Leicester since the age of eight and came through the academy set-up.
The centre-half made his debut for Leicester City's first team in a 4-1 win over Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup in August 2017.
He could be in line to make his first appearance for Peterborough when they face Plymouth Argyle at London Road on Saturday.
