Norwich defender Harry Toffolo has joined Peterborough on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old made 30 appearances for Swindon before featuring for Sky Bet Championship outfit Rotherham on seven occasions earlier this term.
Toffolo arrives at the Sky Bet League 1 club to fill the void left by Callum Elder, who returned to Leicester last month for treatment on a foot injury.
"It was a body blow losing Callum Elder," said Peterborough manager Graham Westley.
"He had been terrific for us down the left-hand side and Lawrie Wilson was brought in to bring a bit of strength to the squad.
"Harry is a terrific young player, he showed at Swindon in League 1 last year what he can do. He has gone to the Championship this year and it hasn't been the most successful loan for him and I think he is delighted to be here, and closer to where his parents live in Stevenage.
"It is ideal for him, ideal for us and I am really looking forward to working with him."
Toffolo, who has also represented England at Under-20 level, tweeted: "Really happy and excited to have signed for @theposhofficial! Looking forward to some big games coming up and push for promotion!"
