Ipswich Town winger Danny Rowe has joined League Two high-flyers Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season.
Rowe joined Mick McCarthy's side from Macclesfield last January but has struggled to secure regular first-team play, making only seven appearances since - three of those coming this season.
The 25-year-old trained with Lincoln over the Christmas period but had to wait for the January window to open to register.
He joins an Imps side fighting for a second-successive promotion, sitting in fifth place after falling to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of leaders Luton Town on New Year's Day.
Lincoln boss Danny Cowley said: "Danny Rowe is a top, top player. He's someone we know well from his time at Macclesfield.
"We actually tried to bring him here when we first joined Lincoln but he had just signed a new deal with Macclesfield.
"The year we were at Braintree, he was the standout player in the National League.
"We've all seen what standout players in the National League can do in the Football League. The prospect of him joining us is really exciting."
