Bristol Rovers eased the pressure on boss Paul Buckle with a 5-2 home hammering of 10-man Rotherham on Friday night.
Scott McGleish netted a first-half double, including one from the spot, with Cian Bolger, Lee Brown and Joe Anyinsah also notching. It took 10 minutes for McGleish to break the deadlock, turning home Craig Stanley's cross from close range. He doubled his tally with a 29th-minute penalty after Scott Rendell had been fouled by Johnny Mullins. Defender Bolger headed Rovers' third from a Matt Gill free kick, but Jason Taylor pulled a goal back for the Millers before the break, sweeping home a Lewis Grabban pass. Rotherham were back in it when Danny Schofield curled a 53rd minute shot past Scott Bevan, but the sending off of new loan-signing Guy Branston for a two-footed tackle four minutes later saw Rovers regain their grip through a Brown volley and a fierce cross-shot from substitute Joe Anyinsah.Rampant Rovers crush Millers
