Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said his side's last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Manchester United was a "tough" one to take.
The home team took an 11th-minute lead thanks to Callum Wilson's close-range finish and they looked firmly on course for their sixth win from seven matches as their fine passing and movement consistently stretched United's defence in the first half.
However, United levelled matters through Anthony Martial's well-taken goal 10 minutes before half-time, and went on to win the game when Marcus Rashford struck in stoppage time.
Despite the defeat, Bournemouth have still made their best start to a Premier League campaign with 20 points from 11 matches.
"It was a tough one for us," said Howe after the game. "A lot of aspects of our play were very good, especially in that opening period.
"The discussion at half-time was of course that we weren't winning, but deserved to be winning by more than one.
"They made some good substitutions and the game was different."
It is the Cherries first Premier League loss at the Vitality Stadium this season, but Howe was still able to look at the positives.
"There's so many good things to come from the game," he said. "It's one of the best since we have been promoted and can't fault anyone with effort.
"Full credit to United for sticking in the game because it couldn't have been easy. Some of our attacking movement was second to none."
