Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
Boruc, 38, signed for Bournemouth on loan from Southampton in 2014 before joining a season later on a permanent deal.
The Poland international has extended his existing contract, which was due to expire this summer, keeping him at the Vitality Stadium until the end of the 2018/19 season.
"I'm very pleased and happy to stay here for another year", Boruc told Bournemouth's website.
"It is never easy to watch the team playing when you are not involved but I am fighting every day for the number one spot and whenever the manager gives me a chance, I give it 100 per cent.
"I am also trying to help our young goalkeepers who are at the start of their careers, which is very important to me.
"I am settled here, I love this club and my family love it here too. I believe I still have a part to play and that is why I signed a new deal."
The former Celtic and Fiorentina goalkeeper has kept 34 clean sheets in 112 appearances for Eddie Howe's side.
