Moses Odubajo's first-half strike proved enough to hand Leyton Orient a 1-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy second-round victory over winless Barnet.

The goal came after 25 minutes when David Mooney and Dean Cox combined down the left to set up 19 year-old Odubajo, who raced into the box and stabbed the ball home from 10 yards for his first of the season. Neither goalkeeper was seriously tested either side of the goal, with Mooney and Odubajo firing wide for the home side, while the Bees' best chance in the first period fell to Clovis Kamdjo, whose left -footed effort on 27 minutes cleared the crossbar. Mark Robson's men, currently bottom of the Football League and still seeking their first win of the season, cam closest to equalising after the break, when Jamal Lowe's powerful effort was well-saved by Ryan Allsop.
