Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom is undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Huddersfield, according to Sky sources.
It is understood Huddersfield struck a deal with the Sky Bet Championship side on Wednesday having previously had two bids turned down.
The 25-year-old, who had also attracted interest from Swansea, had entered the final year of his contract at Oakwell.
He will become manager David Wagner's 11th signing of the summer ahead of the new Premier League season.
Yiadom moved to Barnsley from Barnet last summer and made 32 Championship appearances during his first season at the club.
He is also a Ghana international and has been capped twice by his national side.
