Gillingham extended their 100 per cent record at home this season as they came from behind to beat League One strugglers Fleetwood 5-1 at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
Without a win in League One since August, the visitors almost took the lead early on through Jamille Matt's header, before Bobby Grant's second goal in as many games from a curled free-kick put them ahead after 12 minutes.
However, the Gills scored four times in 16 first half minutes to turn the game around.
Irish striker Rory Donnelly converted at the back post for his first Gillingham goal on 18 minutes, before on-loan Chelsea midfielder Jordan Houghton headed in from close range having started the move that led to the Kent side's second.
After Town failed to clear Brennan Dickenson's free-kick, defender John Egan finished on the turn to further increase the hosts' advantage on 31 minutes, before Donnelly's deft chip from 25 yards over Town goalkeeper Chris Maxwell made it 4-1.
Substitute Cody McDonald added a fifth for the Gills two minutes after coming on after good play by Bradley Dack.
Town ended the game with 10 men as substitute Eggert Jonsson was dismissed after 80 minutes for a second bookable offence.
