Bob Bradley vowed to "fight like crazy" to turn things around at Swansea after his side were thrashed 4-1 at home by West Ham.
The boos were audible around the Liberty Stadium as Swansea were easily brushed aside by the Hammers, who secured a third league win in a row in south Wales.
Andre Ayew set the ball rolling against his former club, netting his first for West Ham since a club-record switch in the summer, before goals from Winston Reid and Michail Antonio put the visitors in control.
Fernando Llorente gave the Swans a glimmer of hope late on, but Andy Carroll quickly added a fourth for West Ham in stoppage time to condemn the Swans to another loss - one that Bradley insisted he will do everything to come back from.
"At the moment, we are our own worst enemy," Bradley told Sky Sports. "When anything goes against us, we just seem to lose our way.
"Our home form has been better recently, but today we cannot be satisfied at all.
"My message from the start was that I understood the situation with the team and I was going to give everything I had every day. Noting has changed, and I am going to fight like crazy to try and turn this club around.
"[Bradley's future] is out of my hands. All I can control is who I am, and I don't make excuses after games like this, and now I can just challenge the players to respond."
Bradley was particularly unhappy with how his players' heads seemed to drop after they went a goal down, but believes with the confidence levels so low at the moment, such an attitude is understandable.
"The game can be cruel," Bradley added. "When you go through a bad period, as a team, it just seems like everything that can go wrong does go wrong, and that is the rut we are in right now.
"Lately, the first goal has come and taken a bit of the confidence away.
"We talked at half time about how we could get back into the game in a smart way, and then the corner comes in in the second half - these are the killers."
