Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin has confirmed that he won't be in the dugout for Saturday's Premier League trip to Bournemouth, after being told not to rush back.
Guidolin was discharged from hospital on Monday after recovering from a chest infection, and although he has returned to the club's training ground, he has not yet taken part in any sessions.
The Italian was taken ill prior to Swansea's trip to Arsenal on March 2, and also missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich. Guidolin revealed he is getting better, but has been told to continue resting.
"I still need some days of rest, to relax. The doctor said I'm better with this," said Guidolin.
"I'm finished with the antibiotics, but it is better for me to relax for some days."
The 60-year old former Udinese boss then revealed that he is unable to return this weekend, but hopes to be back in the dugout for the home clash with Aston Villa on March 19.
"I'm working with my assistant, with Alan [Curtis] and my players every day. But it is not possible for me to go on the pitch yet for some days," added Guidolin.
"For the match against Aston Villa, I hope [to be back in the dugout]. I think so, yes."
That means that first-team coach Curtis will again take charge of the Swans, having led them to victories in both games he has stood in for Guidolin.
A win against Bournemouth could see Swansea go as many as 12 points clear of the bottom three.
