Fleetwood claimed their second League One scalp in the FA Cup as a 2-0 win at Yeovil booked them a dream tie at home to local rivals Blackpool.
Apart from the first 20 minutes, the Glovers were outplayed by the Blue Square Bet Premier high-fliers and could have no complaints with the outcome at Huish Park on Tuesday night. Jamie McGuire steadied the visitors' nerves with a well-taken goal after 28 minutes. Peter Till did well on the right and when he crossed towards the penalty spot, McGuire threaded a low shot past Gareth Stewart. Yeovil's anxiety increased, and following a spate of bookings, defender Bondz N'Gala was sent off for a second yellow card. Fleetwood also had a man sent off when skipper Steve McNulty was given his marching orders, also for two yellows, in the 85th minute. That did not stop them from adding a second goal in stoppage time, though, as Jamie Vardy beat a defender before slipping the ball home.Win lands Cod Army dream tie
