Blackpool registered their first win at a sparsely-populated Bloomfield Road since January 31 with a 2-0 triumph over Chesterfield.
Mark Cullen got them off to a flying start before Brad Potts doubled the lead after the break, as the Spireites ended September after picking just one League One point in the month.
The Seasiders snatched a second minute lead after Jack Redshaw miscued from six yards and Cullen poked home from close range.
Cullen almost scored a second after a surging run down the left in the 19th minute but was denied one-on-one by Tommy Lee.
Ollie Banks had a couple of chances for Chesterfield after 26 minutes, curling a shot over the bar before heading wide from six yards.
The Spireites' top scorer Sam Morsy threatened in the 62nd minute with a dipping shot from 25 yards but it fell inches wide.
Blackpool scored again on 67 minutes after John Herron cleared Liam O'Neil's header off the line.
The home side struck on the counter and Potts lashed home from 12 yards.
