Fleetwood twice came from behind to earn a 3-2 win at Rochdale.
The home side edged ahead five minutes before the break when Stephen Dooley's corner was headed home by Aaron Wilbraham.
Fleetwood started the second half well and were level within nine minutes of the restart, Paddy Madden pouncing after Ched Evans' header was saved by Robert Sanchez.
Wilbraham had his second of the afternoon, restoring the home side's lead on the hour mark but Dale were pegged back once again just five minutes later.
Substitute Kyle Dempsey sent a shot goalward from distance and seeing his effort squeeze through a crowded penalty area and ricochet off Wilbraham for an unfortunate own goal.
There was a long stoppage in play when Rhys Norrington-Davies collided with Billy Crellin, with both players down for a lengthy spell and eventually Norrington-Davies was stretchered off.
All Dale's subs were on the field by that point and as the 10 men adjusted, Fleetwood broke forward and took the lead for the first time in the game in the 89th minute as Wes Burns swept home the late winner.
