Armand Gnanduillet's last-gasp strike rescued a 2-2 draw for Blackpool and denied Walsall all three points at Bloomfield Road.
Walsall opened the scoring midway through the first half through Joe Edwards, who finished off a well-worked passing move by netting a composed finish from inside the penalty area.
Nathan Delfouneso then levelled for Blackpool after 37 minutes when he fired home from the centre of the penalty area and Walsall defender Jon Guthrie thought he had snatched all three points when he poked the ball home at the back post 14 minutes from time.
But there was to be another twist when Gnanduillet equalised for Blackpool in dramatic fashion, hammering the ball past the dive of Liam Roberts into the bottom corner, having been fed through by Dan Agyei with two minutes to play.
The result leaves Blackpool just two points above the relegation zone, while Walsall are three places higher in 16th.
