Bradford missed the chance to go top of the Sky Bet League One table as Joe Martin earned Millwall a 1-1 draw at The Den.
With table-toppers Bolton being held by Southend, unbeaten Bradford would have ended the day top with victory over Millwall.
But despite going ahead through a Byron Webster own goal, they could not hold on, with the hosts levelling shortly after half-time through Martin's powerful strike.
The Lions made the brighter start with Steve Morison's cross gathered by the outstretched Colin Doyle in Bradford's goal with Aiden O'Brien lurking.
Bradford, boosted by the return of Stephen Darby, responded well with Lions stopper Jordan Archer reacting smartly to keep out Nicky Law's header.
Law was at the heart of things as the Bantams went ahead on 42 minutes. The midfielder released Mark Marshall who drove purposefully before unleashing a rasping strike which deflected in off Webster.
Much improved after the break, the Lions responded as Martin fired unerringly beyond Doyle to equalise on 49 minutes.
Bradford came agonisingly close to a winner in stoppage time as Mahlon Romeo's hurried clearance fell to Law, but Archer produced a fine stop to tip his effort onto a post.
