Leeds United have reiterated that defender Charlie Taylor will not be sold during the January transfer window.

Taylor is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a move to West Brom.

The 23-year-old left-back submitted a transfer request last summer in a bid to force through a move to the Premier League but is now expected to remain with his boyhood club until the end of the season.

With Leeds currently fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table, manager Garry Monk is determined not to damage his team's promotion hopes by letting any of his key players.

"We do not have to sell anyone and we won't be selling anyone," Monk said. "It'll only be in-comings. There'll be no-one leaving in this window.
