Hull City are in advanced talks with Bournemouth over the loan signing of midfielder Marc Pugh, according to Sky sources.
Pugh joined the Cherries from Hereford in the summer of 2010 and is currently Bournemouth's longest serving player.
He cost £60,000 after a tribunal decision and was an instrumental part of the Bournemouth team that rose through the EFL.
The 31-year-old has made 274 appearances and scored 45 goals for the club but has only played three times this season.
Pugh's last appearance was in the 3-1 FA Cup third round defeat to Brighton on January 5 when he scored Bournemouth's consolation goal.
Hull are eighth in the Championship after 28 games, six points off the play-off places.
Nigel Adkins' team let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa on Saturday after winning their previous six Sky Bet Championship games.
