Philip Wright Bratley's 1912 FA Cup winners' medal stolen

Barnsley have appealed for any information regarding a stolen 1912 FA Cup winner's medal, originally belonging to Philip Wright Bratley.

The club's fans and the wider footballing community are asked to come together in search of the medal, which has been stolen from Philip's 82-year-old grandson.

Barnsley beat West Brom 1-0 in a replay to win the 41st FA Cup final on April 24 1912.

Anyone with information about its whereabouts is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 849 of March 17, 2018.
