Barnsley have signed striker Stefan Payne on a free transfer from Dover.
Payne, 24, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the option of an additional year.
"Stefan is someone we've had our eye on for a while and he has all the right attributes as a striker," Reds caretaker head coach Paul Heckingbottom told the club's official website.
"He's scored a lot of goals over the past few seasons and will prove a good addition to our front-line in the future."
Payne added: "To have the opportunity to sign for a club like Barnsley, I've taken it with both hands. I like getting in behind, taking people on and scoring."
The former Fulham trainee struck 23 goals this season with 11 assists and has scored a total of 40 goals in 90 appearances for Dover.
