Leicester have announced the permanent transfer of goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler to Stuttgart.
Zieler has penned a three-year deal with the newly promoted Bundesliga side, a year after joining Leicester from Hannover 96.
The German began his senior career at Manchester City but made his professional debut on loan at Northampton Town in 2009.
Since joining the Foxes last season the 28-year-old made 13 appearances, including in the Champions League win over Brugge and a 4-2 Premier League victory over Manchester City.
A statement on Leicester's website said: "He joins a Stuttgart side that won promotion back to Bundesliga 1 at the first time of asking last term - alongside Zieler's former club Hannover, whom they beat to the second division title by two points.
"He departs with the thanks and best wishes of everyone at Leicester City."
