Leicester have announced the signing of experienced Sevilla captain Vicente Iborra on a four-year deal.
Sky Sports News HQ understands the 29-year-old midfielder has joined the Foxes for a fee in the region of £12.5m.
Sky Sports News HQ reported on Monday that talks were ongoing between the clubs, with Foxes manager Craig Shakespeare having been impressed by the 29-year old when the sides met in the Champions League last season.
And after signing the Spaniard, Shakespeare said: "I'm absolutely delighted that Vicente has joined us.
"He's a player with such a good pedigree from his time in Spain with Sevilla and he adds some really strong competition to our squad."
Iborra said: "I'm looking forward to experiencing the Premier League with my new team-mates next season. Everything about this club seems good and it's been great to meet my new team-mates."
La Liga side Sevilla announced earlier this week that their captain was on his way to England for a medical before returning to Spain to bid farewell to the club where he has spent four seasons.
"Iborra has always shown an exemplary behaviour and has earned the unanimous love and respect of all Sevillians," the Spanish club said.
Iborra almost joined Sunderland last summer in a £7m deal but Sevilla pulled the plug at the last minute.
