Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare believes his side are not yet safe from relegation after they surrendered a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Robert Huth and Jamie Vardy looked to have set the Foxes on course for a comfortable victory at Selhurst Park before Yohan Cabaye and Christian Benteke salvaged a draw for the hosts.
Leicester are now nine points clear of the Premier League relegation places but Shakespeare is taking nothing for granted as the season draws to a close.
"We need more points because we're never quite sure what can happen in football," he said. "Teams can go on a run - as we've proved."
Benteke's late equaliser was controversial, with Leicester claiming the Belgium international climbed over Yohan Benalouane to bundle in his goal.
Shakespeare believes his side were unlucky to come away with just a point from the game but admits they paid the price for failing to kill off their opponents.
"If think there's a tinge of disappointment because we got in the lead," Shakespeare said. "When we scored the second goal it was [only] two minutes before they scored their first.
"Then, we had to have a bit of game management. If we could have seen it out a bit more then I think we could have possibly gone and won.
"Make no mistake - they caused us problems with their aerial threat."
Leicester were forced to play three games in eight days due to their continued involvement in the Champions League and Shakepeare admits his side have struggled to maintain the high standards that were a feature of the start of his reign.
"We need to keep that momentum going - it's all about the confidence," he said.
"You could see today the work that they put in but we've had a tough schedule - we really have in the past eight days. It's all about the recovery now as well."
