Leicester caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare has revealed he will sit down for talks with the clubs' owners at the end of next week after leading the Foxes to back-to-back wins.
Shakespeare took control following Claudio Ranieri's sacking last month and has won both matches in interim charge 3-1 after his side followed up Monday's home victory over Liverpool with another three points against Hull.
Leicester are still sounding out potential replacements for Ranieri, with Sky sources understanding former England manager Roy Hodgson is interested in the role, yet Shakespeare has done his chances of landing the job no harm.
"I've made my position fairly clear," Shakespeare told Sky Sports.
"I've been asked, first of all to do the Liverpool game and now the Hull game. I've done that.
"We've said we'll sit down at the end of next week which we'll do."
Goals from Christian Fuchs and Riyad Mahrez and a Tom Huddlestone own goal ensured Leicester recovered from Sam Clucas giving Hull an early lead, as the defending champions claimed consecutive league wins for the first time this season.
Shakespeare was full of praise for his side's character after coming from a goal down to claim victory.
"We challenged the players to put together back-to-back wins," the 53-year-old said.
"They've managed to do that and I thought the character, the resilience they showed after going one goal down was there for all to see.
"It's the first time we've gone behind and come back but it also shows the character of the players.
"To put the back-to-back wins on the board, like we said was vitally important."
Leicester's crucial win means they are now five points clear of the relegation zone.
Hull, meanwhile, remain second bottom of the table and are four points from safety after Crystal Palace won at West Brom, but Shakespeare thinks it will continue to be tight at the bottom until the end of the season.
"It's tight down there and it will stay that way," he added.
"We have to make sure we show all the qualities we've shown today [Saturday] and on Monday night."
