Opera star Andrea Bocelli serenaded champions Leicester and manager Claudio Ranieri ahead of kick-off at the King Power Stadium

Leicester held a title party at the King Power Stadium - and opera legend Andrea Bocelli treated the crowd to an extra special show.

The carnival atmosphere around the city has been in full swing since Tottenham's draw at Chelsea on Monday meant the Foxes' Premier League fairytale was complete - and they got the party started back in front of their own fans with the help of a famous face.

Ranieri led fellow Italian Bocelli onto the field to a huge ovation before kick-off against Everton and introduced the world-renowned tenor to the crowds, before telling fans: "We are the champions because you pushed this club so much. Thank you so much. I love you."

Bocelli started with Nessun Dorma, an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot, better known to football fans as the theme of Italia '90.

The party then continued with another Bocelli number - Time to Say Goodbye - and the star prompted another cheer when he took his coat off to reveal a Leicester shirt.
