N'Golo Kante will not commit his long-term future to Leicester City but is focused on bringing the Premier League title to the King Power Stadium.
The French midfielder has been one of the best players in the Premier League since he moved to England from Caen last summer.
His impressive performances have helped propel Leicester to the top of the Premier League - the Foxes are five points clear of second placed Tottenham with seven games remaining.
However, it has also led to reports of a big-money move and Kante has been linked to clubs such as Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal.
When asked if he would be at Leicester next season, Kante told Sky Sports News HQ: "I will fight for Leicester this season and next season we never know and we will see.
"At this moment I am focused on Leicester. We have to finish well this season but I don't mind about the other clubs."
Kante took only eight minutes to score his first international goal on his first start for France on Tuesday night.
Many French commentators made him the man of the match as France beat Russia 4-2 at the Stade de France.
Three years ago he was playing in the French third division but this week he celebrated his 25th birthday in style by opening the scoring in Paris.
Kante added: "It was a good present for my birthday. [it was my] first time in the starting line-up and first goal. It was a good win and we are happy."
Kante almost joined Marseille last summer before a tour of Leicester's ground and facilities convinced him to sign a four-year deal at the King Power Stadium.
Since his £5.6m transfer, he has become an integral part of a team who have surprised everyone - Kante included - by establishing a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
"It is unbelievable because we weren't thinking about this at the start of the season," he added. "All things are good and we are happy."
With only seven games to go until the end of the season, Leicester are closing in on becoming the most unexpected English champions since Nottingham Forest in 1978.
All that stands between them and greatness is games against Southampton, Sunderland, West Ham United, Swansea City, Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea.
A minimum haul of 17 points from those games would guarantee Leicester the title for the first time in their 132-year history.
Kante said: "We will fight for the title but it is not [our] due. We have to fight in every game. There are seven games left. We hope to win the league but it's not finished."
