Coventry have signed Kwame Thomas on a two-year contract after he was released by Derby at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 20-year-old striker made 22 appearances on loan for newly-relegated Blackpool last season and has also enjoyed a spell at Notts County.
Speaking to the official website, manager Tony Mowbray said: "Kwame is an exciting young striker, who will add pace and power to our attacking options.
"It's good to get the first signing of the summer over the line and I am looking forward to working with Kwame over the course of next season."
