Burnley have completed the signing of Robbie Brady from Norwich for an undisclosed club-record fee.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche stepped up his efforts to sign the Republic of Ireland international after losing out to West Ham in the chase for Hull City's Robert Snodgrass.
The versatile 25-year-old has played 31 times for his country, lining out at left back, on the left-hand side of midfield and in central midfield.
Brady has played 22 times for the Canaries in the Championship this season, scoring four goals and registering four assists.
The move to Turf Moor will see Brady reunited with international team-mate and childhood friend Jeff Hendrick, who he played alongside for St Kevin's Boys in Dublin's youth leagues.
Speaking about Brady's potential move earlier this week, Hendrick told Sky Sports: "For me personally it would be brilliant to have another friend here and I think he would help the squad as well.
"I text him a lot and talk to him every few days - I have known him since the age of seven - so we have a lot of different conversations.
"He is a great player and everyone is saying how well he's done over the previous few years."
