Crystal Palace winger Sullay Kaikai has been recalled from his loan spell at struggling League One side Shrewsbury.
The 20-year-old had agreed a deal to stay at the Greenhous Meadow stadium on loan until January 16 but Palace have instigated the 24-hour recall clause in the agreement.
Kaikai joined Shrewsbury in September and scored five goals in 17 appearances for Micky Mellon's team.
The move to the Shrews was Kaikai third loan since February 2014, having gone to Crawley and Cambridge as part of his development.
He won the U's Young Player of the Year award last season as well as the same award at his parent club.
Kaikai has made five appearances for Palace's development side so far this season, scoring one goal for the team.
