A defiant Fleetwood stopped Plymouth's winning streak as they fought back to draw 1-1 at Highbury.
Plymouth, looking to claim a seventh successive victory in League One, took a 15th-minute lead when a poor Nathan Pond clearance resulted in Moses Makasi curling the ball home following a slick one-two move with Ruben Lameiras.
That goal, however, did not knock the stuffing out of Fleetwood and they created an abundance of chances to level, with Ash Hunter wasting a one-on-one opportunity.
Conor McAleny also fired over the bar at the near post and forced Remi Matthews into a fine diving save.
But Town were more clinical in the second half as Paddy Madden popped up tap home Hunter's chip over the top in the 55th minute.
As Fleetwood pushed for a winner, Madden sliced the ball wide and McAleny was left fuming after his penalty appeal was waved away after his strike looked to have been handled by Gary Sawyer in the box.
But it would take a fine late diving save from Alex Cairns to deny Plymouth yet another victory as he tipped Graham Carey's effort away right at the end.
