Cardiff City have completed the signing of winger Anthony Pilkington from Norwich City for a fee believed to be in the region of £2m.
The Bluebirds have recruited 26-year-old Pilkington on a three-year deal but the player’s availability for the game at Huddersfield is yet to be confirmed.
Pilkington travelled with Norwich to their game at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday but was not named in the matchday squad.
A statement confirming the deal on the Canaries’ official website said: "The club would like to place on record its thanks to Anthony for his services and wish him well for the future."
Pilkington started just 10 Premier League games for Norwich last season due to knee and hamstring injuries and has been allocated squad number 19 at Cardiff.
