Danny Mayor has signed a new three-year deal at Bury, the club's chairman Stewart Day revealed at their end-of-season awards night.
Midfielder Mayor has been on a season-long loan with the Shakers from Sheffield Wednesday, but has now made that move permanent. The 22-year-old has played 41 games this season and was named the Sky Bet League Two club's players' player of the year, an award presented to him by Day. The chairman said: "It is a signing we desperately wanted to make and one we have worked very hard on. "I believe it shows the ambition of this club and I am delighted to have him on board."Mayor commits to Shakers
