Stoke City have made an enquiry about Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye, Sky Sports News understands.
Ndiaye has been playing in Turkey since August 2015, initially joining Osmanlispor and then completing a transfer for around £7m to Galatasaray last summer.
The 27-year-old, who plays as an attacking midfielder, was also part of the Senegal side which reached the quarter-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
He had spent the previous three seasons playing in Norway and was a regular goalscorer for Bodo/Glimt, first on loan and then after signing on a permanent deal.
Stoke are continuing to seek reinforcements despite being without a manager, having sacked Mark Hughes last weekend after their FA Cup third-round defeat at the hands of League Two side Coventry City.
