Leicester City coach Inigo Idiakez is set for a major decision in his career, with the potential choice of joining either Wolves, Derby, or staying at the Premier League champions.

Sky sources understand the Foxes U16 coach is wanted by former boss Nigel Pearson at Derby, and would gain a promotion to first-team coach if he joined the Rams.

But Sky Sports News HQ have also been told that Idiakez's name has been mentioned in negotiations for the takeover of Wolves by a Chinese consortium and he could be offered the role of assistant manager at Molineux.

It is understood the consortium want former Porto coach Julen Lopetegui to take the helm at Wolves if their takeover is successful, and the former Spain international wants Idiakez as his number two.
