Alan Pardew will remain in charge of West Brom for next weekend's game at home to Leicester City, according to Sky sources.
Members of Albion's board met on Saturday night and held further discussions on Sunday morning to discuss what is best for the club going forward.
Sky have been told it was decided, similarly to last weekend, that sticking with Pardew is the best option for now.
This is largely because there are no obvious alternatives to go with, but also because the improved performance from the team in Saturday's defeat at Watford, has convinced Pardew's bosses that the players have not turned against the manager.
The club's current predicament at the bottom of the Premier League table, has left new chief executive Mark Jenkins believing it will be very difficult to attract the sort of calibre of candidate the club would want.
Sky sources understand Albion cannot make a stop-gap appointment until the end of the season, and there is no obvious caretaker manager within the ranks of Albion's current coaching staff.
The Albion board are thought to be reluctant to go with John Carver, Pardew's assistant, even though he does have experience as a number one when he was interim manager at Newcastle in 2015.
Albion have lost six successive matches and are now eight points from safety at the bottom of the table with nine games to play.
