Manchester City defender Jason Denayer has completed his move to Sunderland on a season-long loan.
Sunderland's Deadline Day didn't go totally according to plan after missing out on Norwich striker Steven Naismith, but there was better news with the arrival of Denayer.
The 21-year-old Belgium international joins the Black Cats with Champions League experience gained over the last two seasons with Celtic in the 2014-15 season and during last year's campaign with Galatasaray, where he won the Turkish Cup.
He became manager David Moyes' eighth signing of the summer.
During his spell at Celtic in the SPL, Denayer was named PFA Young Player of the Year, after helping the Scottish heavyweights to a league and cup double.
Denayer has also won eight caps for the Belgium national team having previously featured for the country's U19 and U21 youth sides.
