Derby v Rotherham preview

Chris Baird, Jamie Hanson and Ikechi Anya are all in the frame to slot in at right-back for Derby's Sky Bet Championship clash against Rotherham.

Republic of Ireland full-back Cyrus Christie has been ruled out for at least three months with a broken foot.

That leaves a three-way battle for the right-back slot, with boss Steve McClaren unlikely to consider moving centre-back Richard Keogh out to the flank.

Midfielder George Thorne remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a broken leg, with on-loan striker James Wilson also sidelined for the foreseeable future with knee problems.

Rotherham midfielder Tom Adeyemi is expected to return to the squad as manager Kenny Jackett chases his first win in charge.

Adeyemi has missed the last five games but Jackett hinted he now has sufficient training under his belt since recovering from a quad injury.

Jackett has reported no new injury problems but midfielder Lee Frecklington remains doubtful after being sidelined for the last two matches with an ankle injury.
